Yusui operates on the same principle as rainwater becoming delicious spring water after natural filtration. It uses only natural stones containing mica, quartz, etc., and additive-free activated charcoal. It transforms water into natural water equivalent to spring water. The raw material used is domestic weathered granite excavated from deep underground. Weathered granite contains feldspar, mica, and quartz, but is primarily composed of feldspar, which is especially effective at making water taste good. All processing, such as repeated washing with spring water, drying, and sieving, is done in-house.

Trihalomethane is a substance formed by the reaction of organic matter present in tap water with chlorine. It is suspected of being carcinogenic. Yusui can also remove this.
*The ability to remove trihalomethane gradually decreases, so to maintain its removal capacity, the internal components need to be replaced after five years of use.
