The raw material used is domestically sourced weathered granite, excavated from deep underground. Weathered granite contains feldspar, mica, quartz, and other minerals, with feldspar being the primary component that makes water taste good. All processing, including repeated washing, drying, and sieving with spring water, is done in-house.

The natural mineral content increases by approximately 10% in tap water, enhancing its sweetness. The ion-exchange properties of weathered natural stone continuously release minerals over a long period.

Trihalomethanes are substances formed when organic matter in tap water reacts with chlorine agents. They are suspected carcinogens. Yuusui can also remove these.
※The ability to remove trihalomethanes gradually decreases, so to maintain its removal capability, the contents need to be replaced after 5 years of use.

It removes 40% of tap water turbidity, resulting in highly transparent water. It also has the power to balance mineral content; for example, in areas like Okinawa where water has high calcium content, it removes excess calcium to produce delicious water.

The ability to remove chlorine for an extended period is due to the ion-exchange action of weathered granite, which adsorbs harmful substances and releases minerals, thereby removing chlorine.
This chlorine removal and decomposition capability recovers when the water purifier is not in use, such as overnight or when the faucet is turned off.

PFAS are per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. Due to their chemical structure, carbon and fluorine bonds are very strong, and they hardly decompose naturally. In 2023, the WHO's cancer research agency IARC announced that among PFAS,

The filtration flow rate is almost the same as tap water, with a JIS standard flow rate of 9.8 liters per minute! Other cartridge-type purifiers typically deliver around 2 liters per minute, making Yuusui about 5 times faster. It is even used in restaurants.

There are no running costs during this period. It continues to decompose and remove chlorine for over 10 years.
However, since its ability to remove harmful substances like trihalomethanes is estimated for 5 years, we recommend replacing the contents around that time.
